Vikings Juniors - Update of happenings for the coming season

Hi everyone, baseball season is just around the corner and the Vikings Committee has been busy setting things in place for the Club's 39th season. Vikings juniors will kick off with a 'Come & Try' day on Saturday 20 August, 1pm at Viking Park. Junior Vikings Preseason practices will be held every Saturday afternoon in September - details to follow. Baseball Canberra has indicated that the Junior Season will commence on Saturday 15 October. Exciting news is that our junior teams will be running around in new playing tops! Club Registration dates are posted on our Facebook page and website.

Baseball Canberra has agreed to align our junior competitions to match Baseball Australia's rules so that there will be a change from last season to the junior divisions and the date used to determine age qualifications. Division age groups are expected to be as follows. Therefore a player must be born on or after 1 May to play in their particular age group. The table below notes month and year born and shows which Division/Age Group a player would be eligible to play:
