Due to wet weather, 

today's Christmas Party at Viking Park has been postponed to:

Saturday 13th  December 

(next weekend!) 

at 5.30pm

1st & 5th grade - Narra-2 is now open 
...but not 100% complete. Turf and dirt are still settling. 

From ACTBA:

Now that Narra 2 is back online, we need to be clear on the clean-up duties for our newly renovated facility (particularly for our 1st and 5th graders as they’ll be using it the most).

The duties required are similar to that of the main diamond – that’s to say…

• Remove the hollywood bases and return them to storage
• Drag the infield dirt area & running tracks. Don’t drag home plate or pitcher’s mound
• If using a main diamond bull pens; cover with tarps, if using a diamond 2 bull pens; level and fill in foot holes
• Place all rubbish in the bins
• Turn off the lights (when required) & lock up the facility (including Toilets)

Christmas Party Weather Warning

Saturday's forecast is for wet stormy weather in the afternoon. If this eventuates, the Christmas Party at Viking Park might be postponed (to Sat 20th December, time tbc if this happens).

U16s Eagles Summer Series Sydney

Last weekend our Vikings U16 boys, along with “friendlies” Matty Gaughran and Josh Murray participated in the Eagles Summer Series competition held by Sydney Diamond Sports.

It was a beautiful weekend of baseball, the weather was amazing and the Aquatic Centre had some lovely playing fields.  As a club team playing against Association sides it was great to see how competitive our boys were.  Of the four games we had a win, a draw and 2 losses, but were in a position to win each game and definitely showed that we had the right stuff.

It was particularly impressive to see that when the team was behind the boys didn’t give up but persevered and on two occasions were unlucky to run out of game time in the middle of remarkable comebacks.
